Think about how we buy and listen to music...Talk about revolutionary. I read that Microsoft discontinued Zune the other day. I think Steve was waiting for that.
As I wait for the morning's editing efforts to render, I check out what's happening here at the Final Cut Studio Support Community and I'm just so pleased to see a simple "Thank You, Steve!" from Jim Cookman. We all need to pause for a moment and realize that Jobs is probably one of those guys that our grandchildren will learn about.To honour and celebrate his achievements I propose the following:
1. All Final Cut User Groups should raise a glass, mug or whatever to the man at their next gathering.
2. Is there an appropriate charity we could donate to as Final Cut users?
3. And finally, and I know this will be difficult for many, I propose we refrain from ******** and moaning about Final Cut X for 30 days. But only 30 days. 🙂
RIP Steve Jobs.
